MAS134 Video Browser Projects 1994

An intelligent video browser offers the viewer content-based options when viewing video, e.g. "skip this boring part" or "go to the next love scene." The design of the browser depends on how the author chooses to represent and index the video, as well as on the author's model of the viewer.

Below is some of the students' work. Several of the video browsers cannot be presented over the Internet, unfortunately. To appreciate the constraints on the authors fully, read The Video Browser Assignment. On each student's home page you may leave comments if you wish.
