Race Classification with an Augmented Training Set

The existing training set was augmented with synthetic faces in the Asian, Black, and Hispanic classes.

Class size is increased from n to 4n by adding:

• n mirrored faces
• 2n averaged faces

 

A multiGLD classifier trained on the augmented training set yielded dramatically improved results for the augmented classes!
