README for Sam + Julie's Affective Computing Final Project


The Data folder contains images of the recorded EDA output for each participant, as well as that participant's survey responses and self-reported moments of arousal as highlighted on the text of the story 

EDA Images are recorded as a complete image of the interaction - from initial setup through meditation exercise and through each story. Images of response to each story is also extracted and enlarged for easier analysis.

Mean and Std. Deviation of # of peaks recorded/reported are also included in a separate file

The Experimental Materials folder contains the movies shown to participants in each of the  three conditions as well as the surveys and full text of each story presented to participants at the end of the movie. 

reading.py is a python script (runs on OS X only) that reads the text of a given file in a computer generated voice.
