In addition to the course email list, we’ll use Piazza for course communication. Here’s what they recommend that I say to you, which seems about right: “This term we will be using Piazza for class discussion. The system is highly catered to getting you help fast and efficiently from classmates, the TA, and myself. Rather than emailing questions to the teaching staff, I encourage you to post your questions on Piazza. If you have any problems or feedback for the developers, email team@piazza.com.”

Being active on Piazza will favorably influence your participation grade. Additionally, assignments will be turned in via Piazza when appropriate as “notes”.

You need an access code to register for the course Piazza site. Email Brad Knox if you need the access code.

Once you’ve registered, post a note to the Piazza “Q & A”.
