Design Constraints & Challenges
Both earrings and necklaces have unique physical constraints (in terms of size and weight) that makes them appropriate for wear from the earlobe and neck. Therefore it may be a challenge to incorporate electronic elements - such as microcontrollers, batteries, LEDs, and sensors, while operating within certain physical parameters. Another process of optimization will be fabrication of elegant yet strong connections between electrical components. Especially with the earring, one is limited by the delicate and small nature of the object.
