Group Forming (4-5 members) for Prototyping Electronics Workshops. We are going to hand out one Arduino per group at the end of class.

ASSIGNMENT 1
CONNECTED TANGIBLES
Create a TUI that is connected to 2 or more entities. These could be connected over large or short distances. They could be used to enhance in situ conversation or add an additional communication layer to long distance communication.
Try to focus on the physical connection rather than getting lost in the complexities of the technology. Try to think in different domains, not just interpersonal communication (games, education/learning, remote collaboration etc.).

Your groups for Project 1 should be set by now. Make sure to talk to the TA’s if you still don’t have a group – or if you have questions as a group. We expect you to work on your Project 1 Assignment outside of class.
