What’s your favorite thing you’ve made?
I created a wearable device to take properties from objects (color and texture) and translate them to a digital design environment.http://fab.cba.mit.edu/classes/863.13/people/dipinoch/weekfinal.html
A super cool building that won ‘building of the year 2009’ in archdaily.http://www.archdaily.com/40086/huanacu-warehouse-office-tfps/
What’s the most frustrating object you’ve used?
A Computer with a keyboard and a mouse to DESIGN something… everything always comes back to pen and paper.
What do you personally hope to get out of this class?
A deeper comprehension of ‘tangible interfaces’ to generate a better interaction between humans and machines in a design environment by translating the irreplaceable qualities of the analog into the digital design process. I am interested in interfaces which can produce a seamless interaction from mind to – digital to – material in order to generate a feedback loop between designer/machines.
HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THIS CLASS?
I will contribute through my skills in design , fabrication, programming and specially hard work.
