Pneumatic Calendar

Todays calendars have moved from the physical form to the digital one. Pneumatic calendar is a physical calendar with digital and pneumatic properties. The calendar is capable of deforming its shape for everyday use, as well as being in sync with your digital one.

The shapes are computationally controlled by each day’s activities. The calendar would dynamically store information about each user schedule and activities, and would be possible to change schedule to another user. For example, if a person enters the room or synchronizes his phone to the calendar.

The calendar consists of various pneumatics, some of them rigid, soft, bubble and spring. Depending on the day or event the pneumatic changes its pre-defined structure to another one. Each state would be useful display important events. For example, it would be possible to display “Lunar Eclipse” as a red bubble pneumatic.
