Bot-of-the-Cloth: A Flexible CNC Machine
by imoyer@mit.edu
This is the first prototype of a fabric-based flexible XY motion gantry which can be controlled by a computer. The design can be scaled to cover an entire wall, and might also be able to conform to certain curved surfaces. Bot-of-the-Cloth could be used to draw patterns on fabric, ink conductive traces, cut fabric with a knife, and more.
