hmmmm
Writing all these comments is hard! I like the concept of reframing wayfinding as a messaging system. But, they idea gets kindof lost in your presentation - it meanders around a bit too much without landing anywhere. I don't think that you would use the same map on a handheld that you would see on the large screens - even if you can pan and zoom. I would have liked some more thinking about this and a bit of explanation about if, for example, the small screen knows its own location. How do the big screens know who is walking past them? What if there was truly no wayfinding, or even mapping, but just lots of messages from some people to other people? What would that mean for the ecology of the building as a whole. Also, why an axo view? is this the best type of axo view? Does anything distinguish one floor from another?
