My final project proposal uses the textile framework of a rocking chair. It uses 2 cnc cut parabolic rails that interlock at 1 slip joint. The project references 3 precedents:

The chair is a flat pack kit of parts to be shipped an assembled by a single person in a less than 5 minutes:
I am testing multiple methods of weaving, knitting and, with increased funding from unknown sources composites:
In the end I hope to have a successful stress and stretch test from each material in the most effective pattern for the lowest common denominator of a body form. I estimate multiple attempts with both variables for the best outcome.
