Schedule for E14 Performance

Schedule:

Until Tuesday Assignment:
each group investigates options for implementation:

Software:
- Figure out Edge Blending pre-existing library?
- Keystoning > distorting opengl image
- one app, 2 opengl windows (>processing)
- 3D Model Import in Quartz Composer / Processing / OpenGL?
- which software to use

Graphics:
- Visualize the 3D perspective of the building. How does it work to focus on one specific lab? How is the motion?
- What visual representations can we have—type. images etc? How

Audio and Interaction (currently the same)
- Can we get input from 4 mics? does it need a hardware interface?
- what software to use? will we use a second computer which is connect to the one in the 3rd floor?
- how do the mics look like? Make the interaction understandable.

Tuesday 4/7
Class meeting.
We talk about the work results and decide on a final design and concept.
Obviously some parts might get cut or changed (especially with the visuals)—but here we decide on:
- Overall concept
- Software to use
- The visuals by concept
- Results from the teams: Interaction, Sound, Software and Graphics
- finalize concrete and detailed to-do lists, figure out task dependencies amongst different team responsibilities

Thursday 4/9
Class meeting
Further work in progress discussion.
We hopefully have prototype versions of:
- overall software framework (interactivity + output)
- projection setup with keystoning and edge blending
and a final solution for all graphic elements

Friday 4/10
We make a rehearsal with the system we have so far
We will meet at 7.30pm in the lobby of E15.
By then the TAs will have the whole projection setup in the dorm.

Weekend
If it rains on Friday we make the test on Saturday.
Coding, Designing, Debugging.

Monday 4/13
We make a final rehearsal with the whole setup.
By this day everything should be finalized, as we will not have an extra day to make tweaks.

Wednesday 4/15
The grande performance!!!!
